Father Widmann’s Retirement – Tribute and Final Mass at St. Mary Mother of God

Several of you have asked how we will honor Father Phil, who is retiring. Below are 2 ways to say thank you. Please consider doing one or both. Thanks to Joanne Miller and Parish Council for getting the ball rolling on this.

NEEDED:  RETIREMENT WELL WISHES from the Parish for Father Phil!

Please email pictures, well wishes, and/or short videos to stmarymogfw@gmail.com.  It would be great if you could share fond memories and stories that you might have.  All of these “techno-bytes” will be gathered together in one file and given to Fr. Phil to enjoy at his leisure.  The deadline to submit is June 19.

If you’d rather, you can mail Fr. Phil cards and well wishes to the Parish mailing address:  PO Box 11383, Fort Wayne, IN  46857-1383.

PLEASE JOIN IN!  Fr Widmann Farewell on June 21

After Father Phil’s final Mass on June 21 there will be a receiving line that will wind through Oechtering Hall.  This will be your opportunity to chat with Father Phil and offer any cards, mementos, gifts, etc..  Social distancing will be observed and masks must be worn.  Please consider participating as we say goodbye to our beloved Fr. Widmann.
